The age-old question! Making a video is like building a house. The cost depends on what you need and how you can make a smart investment of your money. Around C$10,000 is a good starting point for us, but we’ve made hundreds of videos in just about every budget range. The best thing to do is hop on a discovery call , so we can talk through it together.

What’s your turnaround time?

The average turnaround is about 3 months after the budget is approved. But in reality, we move as fast as you do. Getting approvals from decision-makers and feedback from your team can really speed us up or slow us down. We’ll work together to set the pace, and we’ll lay out all of the project milestones in a way that’s clear and easy to follow.

How long should a video be?

Everyone wonders about optimal length, but the real fear is making a video that people won’t watch. The truth is there are 30-second videos that feel too long and 6-minute videos that just fly by. Instead ask yourself, who am I trying to reach, what do they care about and what will engage them the most?

Can you help me launch my video?

Absolutely! And we have video strategist on staff to do just that. If you don’t have a strategy for your video, then you very well may be wasting your money (no matter how good your content is). Hop on a discovery call and we can talk you through our strategic approach to video.

Should I write my own script?

We say this with love... Can you write your own script? Absolutely you can. Should you? Unless you have a background in screenwriting, story marketing or both, probably not. We have a team of creative experts who do this every day, and they’ll work with you to create a script you’ll love. Talk with your customers and team members to gather insights. Find videos that inspire you. And by all means, bring a handful of ideas to the table. This is a great way for us to start collaborating

Do you work with outside agencies?

Absolutely! If you just need a film crew, we’re happy to help. But ideally, we’ll work alongside your partners from the very beginning, so we can help catch and solve any issues that might affect production later on

I just need a videographer. Can you show up and shoot my event?

Accepted Answer

Maybe… But you’re more likely in the market for a freelancer. We are an end-to-end video production company with a full suite of services, not all that different from an ad agency. That might be more horsepower than you need.
